Traditional Dalmatian stone cottage. Completed in 2011. It is approx. 2 minutes walking distance to the nearest beach called "Bunta"(at big photo on the gallery). A minute walk to the bus stop, cafeterias, butcher and bakery shop, 2 mini-supermarkets, restaurants, currency exchange, banking machine, souvenir shop, small fish market and open stalls with local fresh fruits and vegetables.
Cottage is centrally located, and the most popular beaches in, and around Sutivan are between 2 - 15 minutes walking distance from the cottage
There is a scuba diving centre for those interested.
Excursions by boat to near by islands are available daily.
Other attractive and well known tourist destinations are all within easy reach by car or by bus.
Situated among the pine trees and very popular among kids and adults is Sutivan "Nature Park", a small local zoo with recreation area and restaurant.

GENERAL: 2 Bedrooms, 2 Family bathrooms. Cable TV with over 100 channels & Air Conditioning unit in each bedroom, DVD player.
If you carry laptop, Wireless internet (Wi-Fi) is available on the premises.

Please note:
As per government regulations, all visitors coming to Croatia have to be registered and pay Tourist Tax fee of € 1 per person per night. In Sutivan, this is paid at the Tourist Office. Owner will pay this fee.

NEAREST AIRPORT: Split International Airport

HOW TO GET TO GORD'S COTTAGE:

At Split airport you can Rent a car, hire taxi, or coach a bus. Airport Bus will take you to the Bus Depot at Split harbour, approx 45 min trip. Bus Depot is 100 meters from the Split Ferry Terminal. Take ferry to Supetar on the Island of Brac, approx 50 min trip. In Supetar you can Rent a car, hire Taxi or take a bus to Sutivan - distance is 6,8 km (10min by car, taxi or bus ).
Owner will meet you in Sutivan, escort you to the property, show you around the Cottage and answer any question you might have regarding the island, Sutivan, or your stay

In Supetar, bus schedule follows ferry arrivals. Upon arrival from Split, you have usually 15-20 minutes to catch a bus. Bus station is 50 meters from the ferry terminal and Taxi is next to the bus station. There are 3 Rent a Car agencies all within walking distance from the ferry terminal. You can also rent a car, bike or scooter in Sutivan.
If you are planning to rent a car:
Please note that car in Sutivan is not necessary!
However, some guests prefer to have car to visit other places on the island, such as Bol, Milna,Pucisca quary and school of sculpture, Dragon Cave, Blaca Monestary etc.
To avoid driving through the city of Split, and to avoid paying ferry fares in both directions, we suggest that you take an airport bus to Split harbour, and rent a car in Supetar or Sutivan.
If you are arriving with Ryanair to Zadar airport, take a bus to Split (approx. 1hour 45min trip). Bus will take you to the Bus Depot at Split harbour, 100 meters from the ferry terminal
If you are flying to Dubrovnik, and you would like to reach accommodations in Sutivan, again you have to come to Split first and take ferry to Supetar. Bus from Dubrovnik goes every hour and traveling time to Split is 4 hours.
Ferry from Dubrovnik to Split goes on Thursdays and Sundays / Depart at 08:30 Arriving to Split at 18:40

FERRY SCHEDULE: From the end of May to the end of September ferry from Split to Supetar goes every hour

Booking Deposit of 30% is required to reserve your stay!

Remainder should be paid in cash upon arrival.

Preferred payment for the Booking Deposit is Bank to Bank Transfer!

Minimum stay is 7 days.

Check in 2PM or later
Check out 10AM or earler.

If you are planning your vacation for the 2012 season, we suggest you book your stay as early as possible
